Walmart’s early Black Friday sale ends soon: I’m tracking my favorite discounts live up to 60% off

Walmart’s early Black Friday sale ends soon: I’m tracking my favorite discounts live up to 60% off

What date does Walmart’s Black Friday 2025 sale start?

Walmart’s first Black Friday sale event runs Friday, Nov. 14 – Sunday, Nov. 16. Walmart+ members got early access to the sale on Nov. 13. The main Walmart Black Friday sale starts online only the week of Thanksgiving, Nov. 25-27, and then online and in stores Nov. 28-30. Again, Walmart+ members will get early access to the Black Friday sale.

How do I become a Walmart+ member?

Right now you can sign up for an annual Walmart+ membership online for 50% off, costing you $49 for the year. This is actually a great deal — it comes with free one- or two-day shipping, free grocery delivery for orders over $35, savings on gas and more, and a subscription to either Peacock or Paramount+, which you can switch back and forth every 90 days if you like.

With your Walmart+ membership, you’ll also get to shop Walmart’s Black Friday deals the night before the sale opens to everyone. That means if there’s a great deal that will sell out, you’ll get first dibs.

What should I expect to get discounts on for Walmart’s Black Friday sale?

Walmart’s first Black Friday sale includes discounts on lots of Apple products, TVs from brands like Samsung and TCL, popular home and kitchen items from Ninja and Dyson, and toys, clothes, and more. I’ve seen deals of up to 60% off so far.

How do these Walmart deals compare to other retailers like Best Buy or Sam’s Club?

Walmart’s deals are often comparable to those at other retailers, but during this first early Black Friday sale window, we’re seeing lower prices at Walmart on certain items compared to other stores, such as the Apple Watch Series 10. However, it’s always good to comparison shop, so check all retailers before you make a purchase.

How did we choose these early Black Friday deals?

ZDNET only writes about deals we want to buy — devices and products we desire, need, or would recommend. Our experts looked for deals that were at least 20% off (or are hardly ever on sale), using established price comparison tools and trackers to determine whether the deal is actually on sale and how frequently it drops.

We also looked over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the deals we’re recommending. Our recommendations may also be based on our own testing — in addition to extensive research and comparison shopping. The goal is to deliver the most accurate advice to help you shop smarter.
