Vivi Money launches AI-native financial intelligence platform powered by Pismo and Visa

Vivi Money launches AI-native financial intelligence platform powered by Pismo and Visa

Pismo, a leading cloud-native financial services platform, today announced that the Australian fintech Vivi Money has selected Pismo’s infrastructure to launch it’s AI-native financial solution using Visa’s global payment network.

The addition of a globally accepted Visa debit card with best in market foreign exchange pricing and high interest savings accounts form Vivi Money’s foundational product suite. Together, these capabilities bring spending, saving, Open Banking insights, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven financial optimization into a single integrated experience. By combining AI driven insights with fully integrated core banking infrastructure, Vivi ensures that analysis and execution operate within a secure, regulated, bank grade environment.

Deepening Pismo’s Footprint in Australia and New Zealand

The agreement reinforces Pismo’s expansion of its service offerings across Asia-Pacific and its ability to support financial innovators seeking modern, modular infrastructure. Vivi Money will rely on Pismo’s core banking APIs to create and manage transaction and savings accounts, embedding Pismo deeply within its technology stack. Vivi Money will leverage Pismo’s modular core banking infrastructure to support high-interest savings accounts and an embedded Visa spending account operating on Visa’s global payments network via Novatti’s BIN sponsorship.

“Supporting both debit cards and savings products on a single, cloud-native platform showcases the full strength of our architecture,” said Varun Dudeja, Head of Business Development, APAC at Pismo. “Vivi Money is building the future of personal finance, and they need a platform to enable flexibility, agility and the reliability of enterprise-grade core banking.”

Why Vivi Money chose Pismo

For Vivi, Pismo’s infrastructure provides the ideal foundation for its new product suite.  Vivi’s architecture has been intentionally designed for speed and extensibility, where new features can be deployed in days rather than months, supported by Pismo’s modular infrastructure. The same foundation provides a pathway to expand into new markets quickly, leveraging Pismo’s international reach.

Using Open Banking data, Vivi connects to accounts, loans and savings across institutions to analyse cashflow, liabilities and interest structures in real-time. By combining AI-powered insights with regulated payment rails, the platform enables secure, user-directed money movement allowing customers to adjust repayments, reallocate surplus cash and optimise savings balances as their circumstances evolve.

“Pismo and Visa provide the infrastructure foundation that enable us to scale globally,” said Will Cormack, CEO and Co-Founder of Vivi Money. “Vivi Money is Australia’s first financial platform of its kind to integrate a sophisticated conversational AI experience directly into a live financial services environment, delivering proactive, personalised AI-initiated money management in real-time.”

Vivi Money combines AI-driven financial intelligence with a globally accepted Visa debit card capability, competitive foreign exchange pricing and high-interest savings — delivered through a market-leading mobile platform. Together, these capabilities position Vivi as a financial intelligence layer sitting above traditional banking relationships and reflects a broader shift from passive financial tracking toward more active, real time financial optimisation.

The company’s initial launch is on track for a May/June launch and will focus on a digitally native, travel-savvy demographic seeking smarter global spending and savings solutions. The launch marks the first stage of Vivi’s broader platform rollout, with additional capabilities and international expansion already planned for the coming year.

By pairing intelligent optimisation with seamless international payments capability, Vivi is initially targeting a generation that lives across borders while building infrastructure capable of scaling across broader market segments over time. “We didn’t build Vivi to be another version of what’s already out there; we built it to change how people interact with their money, using AI to make it simpler to understand, move, and act upon. But this is just the beginning. We already have several new capabilities in development that will roll out shortly after launch,” adds Will.
