Australian fintech company Veloxpays has rebranded as Veloxverse, reflecting the company’s expansion beyond international payments and remittance into a broader financial, travel and digital services ecosystem.
The rebrand marks the next stage of the company’s growth as it develops a platform designed to give customers access to multiple services through one connected ecosystem.
Originally established with a focus on international remittance and payment services, Veloxverse is now expanding its offering across credit and finance, travel, insurance, airport services and other digital services, alongside its core remittance capabilities.
The company says the broader platform is being developed around a simple customer need: reducing the number of separate providers, applications and websites customers need to use when managing financial and travel-related services.
Through the Veloxverse ecosystem, customers will progressively be able to access international money transfers, finance solutions through VeloxCredit, flight and travel services through VeloxTravel, travel insurance, airport assistance and other related services from one platform.
Veloxverse Founder and Managing Director Md Riaj Uddin said the transition reflects how significantly the company’s vision has developed since Veloxpays was first established.
“Veloxpays was created with a strong focus on payments and international remittance, but over time we identified a much larger opportunity,” Uddin said.
“Customers often have to move between multiple providers for finance, travel, payments and related services. Our objective with Veloxverse is to create a more connected experience where those services can work together within one ecosystem.”
The expansion also follows a period of broader regulatory, technology and industry development for the business.
Veloxverse operates within Australia’s regulated financial services environment, including its remittance activities, while its credit offering is delivered through the company’s credit representative arrangements.
The company has also expanded into the travel sector, with IATA accreditation and travel technology capabilities supporting the development of VeloxTravel and its broader travel offering.
According to Uddin, the combination of fintech and travel represents an important part of Veloxverse’s longer-term strategy.
“A customer travelling overseas may need flights, travel insurance, airport services, access to finance and the ability to send money internationally. Traditionally, those needs are handled by several different businesses,” he said.
“We see an opportunity to bring more of that journey together while maintaining the appropriate compliance, technology and service partnerships behind each product.”
Rather than positioning itself solely as a remittance provider, Veloxverse is seeking to build a broader consumer services platform that connects different stages of the customer journey.
The company is also continuing to develop relationships with financial institutions, technology providers, lenders and travel partners as it expands its Australian operations and international service capabilities.
Veloxverse said future development will focus on improving automation, customer experience and integration between services, while continuing to expand the range of products available through the platform.
The rebrand from Veloxpays to Veloxverse is intended to represent that wider ambition.
“Veloxverse is not simply a new name,” Uddin said.
“It represents where the business is heading. We are moving from a single-service proposition towards a broader ecosystem where financial and travel services can be accessed in a simpler and more connected way.”
