Automic Automation, now known as Broadcom Automation, is an enterprise-grade workload automation (WLA) platform that helps organizations streamline and automate their business processes. Automic Automation has a long history of changing names and companies. Initially, Software Beratung Beranek (SBB) developed a product named “UC4” as it became a major hit; the company named itself after this best-known product to comply with audiences and customers in Europe in 2004. In 2013 the company changed its name to Automic Automation. In 2016 CA Technologies bought Automic Automation. 5 years later, CA Technologies were bought by Broadcom in 2018. Automic Automation is now officially owned by Broadcom.
