Brand new in the IDS NXT ecosystem: IDS NXT malibu. It combines consumer technology from Ambarella – known from action cams – with industrial quality and expertise from IDS. The result is a new class of intelligent industrial cameras that generate AI overlays in the live video stream as edge devices. Thanks to the special chip, image analyses can be carried out at high speed (>25fps) and output as live overlays in compressed video streams via the RTSP protocol. This is new in the industrial camera market – and a further step towards opening up new applications for farming based on intelligent image processing.
