JAVLN acquires organiseit (OIT), advancing leadership in insurtech and document management

Cloud-based insurance software company JAVLN has acquired organiseit (OIT), a prominent Australian document management system (DMS) provider.

The acquisition follows JAVLN’s recent AUD $6 million capital investment and represents a major step in expanding its insurance and financial services footprint across the APAC region. It also further strengthens the company’s flagship document management solution, JAVLN Officetech.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Raymond Hatch and Jane Davies, OIT built an exceptionally loyal customer base and earned a reputation for reliability, efficiency and robust information organisation.

The combined expertise and technology of both teams strengthens JAVLN’s leadership in mission-critical document management. It also fast-tracks its vision for a unified, cloud-native DMS built for next-generation security, compliance and usability.

Strengthening leadership in insurtech and DMS

JAVLN is already trusted by thousands of brokers, agencies, and underwriting team members in ANZ. The acquisition enhances this strong position, reinforcing JAVLN’s insurtech leadership and supporting its mission to modernise insurance operations through connected, cloud-first technology.

JAVLN CEO David Leach said, “We are delighted to welcome the talented OIT team and their partners into the JAVLN family, to support our core mission: to help insurance brokers, agencies, and underwriters evolve into super powered risk advisers. We will achieve this by providing them with a digital ecosystem that is easy-to-use, inherently secure, and compliance-friendly.”

OIT Co-Founder Raymond Hatch added, “As my wife Jane and I head into retirement, we’re so happy to have found the perfect home for our employees and customers. OIT’s loyal customer base, combined with JAVLN’s secure cloud platform, creates powerful synergies that benefit everyone. This move ensures the long-term viability and innovation that critical business software needs.”

What the acquisition means for customers

The combination of OIT’s established customer base with JAVLN’s secure, modern cloud suite creates strong operational and technological synergies. If OIT customers eventually migrate to the JAVLN platform, they will benefit from continued service as well as:

  • Ongoing investment in innovation: Continuous feature development and enhancements to ensure the platform remains at the cutting edge of document management
  • Best-in-class security and compliance: enterprise-grade protection, including SOC 2 compliance
  • Scalability in the cloud: The ability to scale operations effortlessly to meet growing business demands, backed by JAVLN’s robust cloud infrastructure

This acquisition caps a momentous year for JAVLN, marked by its successful capital raise, major product enhancements and a series of senior leadership appointments.
