The vital agricultural sector in Mexico is facing challenges including climate change, reduced yields, and outdated farming practices. The Government of Mexico required an agristack to promote financial inclusion and drive technological innovation among Mexican farmers. FIRA was mandated for this task. FIRA deployed Cropin Cloud platform to develop a digital skills transfer model to build resilience and strengthen the agricultural ecosystem.

Cropin provided farmers with real-time insights on crop health, soil moisture, and weather conditions, as well as personalized advice for specific crops and regions and disease early warning systems. The platform also provided additional insights on extreme weather events, such as tropical cyclones, cold waves, dog days, and ENSO forecasts empowering farmers to build resilience.
