Inspiration Healthcare Group, a specialist in neonatal intensive care medical devices, has appointed Alan Olby ACA as chief financial officer and a director of the company. 

Olby is an experienced and commercially focused healthcare CFO, with extensive international and operational experience within fast-growing listed and private healthcare companies. He spent 16 years at Sinclair Pharma, of which 12 years were as CFO and a member of the executive leadership team and he was instrumental in transforming the company into a fast growth global aesthetics business, which was sold to Huadong Medicine Co for £165 million in 2018.

During his tenure he oversaw several successful capital raises, and several strategic M&A transactions, including the disposal of the non-core business to Alliance Pharma for £132 million in 2015. Prior to Sinclair Pharma, Alan was group financial controller of Xenova Group and KS Biomedix.
