Samsung has taken a beating with the controversy surrounding the Note 7, but that doesn’t mean Apple can gloat. After all, the mobile phone industry is smacked with many competitors that ensure the two highly-known tech giants get a run for their money.
And, one such rival is Xiaomi, a Chinese tech giant, that’s offering the smartphone industry its Xiaomi Mi MIX.
What’s So Great about the Xiaomi Mi MIX?
It appears that Xiaomi is looking to strike a lot of interest in its new phone by offering a borderless display. While it’s not totally borderless, it does offer a 91.3 percent display space compared to the other gadgets currently offered on the market. In reality, it’s a nearly all-screen display gadget.
The phone has a 6.4-inch displayed with a 2040 x 1080 pixel display. It comes with thin but durable bezels to ensure the MIX is stylish and smooth. For people who are constantly on the move, the phone could be a bit problematic because of the thinness.
Although there’s a possibility of the phone being dropped, Xiaomi noted that even though the phone is thin, the company ensured it was still sturdy.
It’s also the first electronic that has no physical buttons. The earpiece and proximity sensor are located strategically so that the device could maintain its smooth, stylish look.
The body of the MIX phone is comprised of ceramic.
